In the beginning of our country we were Americans separated by England - Loyalists and Patriots; by religion - Puritans and Quakers; then by war – Yankees and Rebels; then by immigration – Irish and Italian; next by color – black and white; and culture - African, Asian, Hispanic, Muslim, and politics – Democrat and Republican and now by descriptions.
